The September 8, 1955 (Volume 39, No.4) edition of Imperial Oil Review. The cover features a black ink woodcut of a woman and a man and two children. The design extends around to the back cover and the name and edition of the magazine is in black around the man's head. In pencil at the center top of the front cover is "see page 2" and the "2" is circled. Inside, there are various oil related articles with black and white photos as well as black wood-cuts. This issue largely focuses on Jake Englehart as well as the founders of Imperial Oil and the first 75 years of the company's history. There is some light blue accents throughout and some of the pages about history are a heavier yellow paper. |
