The donor's husband, Patrick Pickford, was born in Petrolia in 1941. Patrick's working career as a Stationary Engineer, Instrumental Technician and Electrician took him to many industries in the Sarnia Lambton Petrochemical Complex (Dow, Nova, Shell, Polysar, Monsanto), the Middle East (Aramco in Saudi Arabia, Oasis Oil in Libya), Petronas in Borneo and Fort McMurray. The donor accompanied her husband on this work contract 1978-1980. They lived in a company community while living in Saudi Arabia. |
