Green soft cover notebook for the minutes started November 29, 1918 to take into consideration the reception of the returning WWI soldiers with a management committee formed. The Memorial committee was hence formed to build and fund a monument for the fallen soldiers. Written on the inside front cover is, St Claire Anderson. The minutes lists those in attendance. A management committee of ten was appointed comprised of five women and five men. Named as Mrs. Robert MacGregor, Mrs. Dan Wallace, Mrs. J.W. Sutherland, Mrs. A. Sutherland, Mrs. J.H. Anderson, Mr. J.W. Sutherland, Mr. A.C. Wallen, Mr. J.H. Anderson, Mr. J.F. Sproule, and Mr. S.G. Jackson. |
