Postcard with a colour image of maple leaves and banner with word, "Maple Leaf Forever" surrounding a woman holding a red flag with a Union Jack in the corner. It is addressed to Alex Johnston Esq. Reeve Oil Springs, Ont. It has been postmarked from Huntsville, Ontario January 2, 1900. Message: 1st January 1900. Mr. A. Johnston, Reeve, Oil Springs. Congratulations upon your election to the Reeveship. Glad to see Oil springs thus express her confidence in her faithful servants of old.
