Handwritten letter from James Schroder, Portsmouth, Ontario dated April 16, 1861 to his son Henry. He writes to his son instructing him to send money with the tax statement and direct it to E. Lally Esq. County Treasurer, Barrie. He tells him of the family news and asks when he will return as there are some little jobs for him to do, otherwise he will arrange or someone else to do them. |
