Letter on letterhead of "The Trusts and Guarantee Company Limited" of Toronto. It is dated June 2, 1921 and addressed to Alex Johnston, Esq., Oil Springs, Ontario with subject of the R.G. McLeod Estate claims. The letter advises Alex that they are in receipt of his letter and they are not in a position to deal with the payment of creditors' claims for at least another six weeks, but since the estate is insolvent it is not expected that it will pay more than 25 or 30 cents on the dollar. It is signed J.H. Whitehead, manager of estates. |
