Small carrying case (a) containing letters (b - c), a booklet (d) and a business card (e). a) Red faux leather carrying case that resembles an envelope. The case features the words "The Bank of Toronto" written in golden letters followed by an elaborate logo and the words "Toronto, Canada. Capital: $5,000.000. Reserve: $7,000.000". The inner flap is also adorned with an inscription that reads "Letter of Indication. Keep This Apart From Letter of Credit. In Case of Loss, Notify Midland Bank Limited" written in gold letters. The inner pocket is stitched along the sides and features the contact information for The Bank of Toronto and the Midland Bank Limited written on the front. b) Letter of Indication. The letter belongs to Bloss P. Corey and is dated January 20th, 1926. c) Two page document. The document outlines a credit of sixteen hundred pounds sterling issued to Bloss P. Corey on January 20th, 1925 from the London Joint City and Midland Bank Limited. On the back of the first page features a record of each payment made by Mr. Corey towards the credit. The last two pages include the words "Payments on account should not be endorsed on this page". d) Small brown booklet. The booklet outlines the contact information for each branch of the Bank of Toronto in Canada along with a directory for other banks worldwide. e) Small business card. The card is plain in style and features the name "A.Dubois" in the middle along with the word "Interpret" below. In the bottom right hand corner, the word "Paris" has been written. The word "Grand Bolel" can be found in the opposite corner. |
