Letter written at St. Albans, England Oct. 11, 1909 by International Driller, John Growder, to his sister letting her know that he has contacted the bank and instructed Peter to let him know how much money he needs loaned and will loan them the money with an interest rate of 5%. John tells his sister that he is working about seven miles outside of London drilling water wells. He says Mr. Boyd has not been well since he returned from Africa. John lets his sister know how his business is going so far and tells her that they are sending two rigs a crew of Petrolia oil men to Burmah soon to start drilling for oil over there. They are getting three or four rigs ready for Egypt. There are also some math calculation hand written at the bottom of the letter in pencil.
