Letter written from Queensland, Australia by International Driller, Archie Growder to his brother, Peter and sister in Petrolea and talks about how sad he is to hear about his brother Alex's death. Archie explains his grief over the loss of his brother and how sorry he was that they hadn't seen each other in so long. Alex's death comes as a shock to the whole family because he was in such good health and his passing was so sudden and unexpected. Archie then moves on to discuss the current weather in Australia and sends his love and well wishes to them and the rest of the family back in Canada. A copy of the transcription is available in the media file and in the accession folder. Archie was an International Driller in Borneo and Australia. |
