Part a: Large yellow hard cover featuring blue and red veining and black fabric on spine. In the center of the front cover is a white sticker bearing the title. "Assessment Roll - Municipality of" and "193-" are typed in black, where the rest is handwritten in black ink. The first few pages are empty of handwriting, excepting the title, which is, typed in black, "Assessment Roll for the" and "for 187-." Pasted on the inside of the front cover is "Declaration of Office" signed by Fred Mott. Pasted on the first page is "Recapitulation of Assessment Roll, 192" also signed by Fred Mott and B.A. Evoy. The pages are white with black text, pink and blue charts, and black, blue and green handwriting. The chart contains the number on the roll, the name of the assessed, their occupation, address, property description and value, as well as taxes. There are 345 names on the main assessment roll (plus "municipal property"), with 25 numbers on the "totals" list. After an empty page, a notice of approval is written in black ink. Some pages have been torn out. On the last page there is one added entry. On the inside of the back cover is some pencil math. Part b: Piece of paper titled "Adjourned Tax Sale" detailing the lands available for sale in the County of Lambton. It is organized by township with the taxes, costs and total listed on the right side of the page. The paper is white with black type on it. At the bottom, the name "John E. Leckie - Treasurer of the County of Lambton" is written. Part c: Piece of paper telling recipients of this how they were assessed in the assessment roll. The title is at the top in black, with a chart underneath also in black. The information the chart would be filled with is the same as in the assessment roll (occupation, address, property description and value, as well as taxes). At the bottom it states that if there is a mistake to contact the Municipality. This is a blank copy. Typed in black text on the back is information for "Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths" and a format for "Notice of Appeal." (Identical to d and e) Part d: Piece of paper telling recipients of this how they were assessed in the assessment roll. The title is at the top in black, with a chart underneath also in black. The information the chart would be filled with is the same as in the assessment roll (occupation, address, property description and value, as well as taxes).
