Handwritten letter from James Schroder, Portsmouth, Ontario dated February 14, 1883 to "Our dear folks at Holland Landing" (Phillis and Alex Johnston) He writes about the oil production from his oil wells in Oil Springs for the past five months and doesn't expect the crude oil price to remain at the present low prices. He then tells about family news and that Delia Jack is very sick with typhoid fever. |
