The April 1957 (Volume 41, No.2) edition of Imperial Oil Review. The cover features a grey background with a multi-coloured abstract bird and a blue signature near the bottom left corner reading "Sohaney." The name and edition of the magazine are at the top right in white. The inside of the front cover tells more about the artist whose full name is Jack Douglas Wilkinson. Inside, there are various oil related articles with black and white photos and various accent colours. In the center of the magazine, is a colourful section about traffic safety Most of this issue, however, is dedicated to Saskatchewan oil. The back cover features another abstract multi-coloured bird on a grey background. These birds have the appearance of texture. |
